A massive attraction in the heart of downtown Dubai is the free evening water and light show where 22,000 gallons of airborne water and spray up to 500 feet high provides a dramatic and incredible delight of 1,5 million lumens of projected light. To get there, walk through the Dubai maul to reach the fountains and be delighted for a few minutes at lunch times or evening shows every half hour.

Dubai Parks are 20 mins from downtown Dubai, a brand-new theme park which opened in 2016 featuring Legoland, and Legoland WaterPark. In the park discover the Dreamworks Studio, high energy Bollywood performances and rides which transport you into a world of fantasy powers and delight. This is a popular park for the Emiratis and visitors alike and is a great place for all the family. Many hotels provide free shuttle services to the park and Dubai Mall. 

So, whether you’re here for a stopover or a longer stay there are plenty in the Dubai events calendar including premier sporting championships, arts exhibitions, music concerts, festivals, and movie premiers.
